The glaciers of Glacier National Park are projected to melt by the end of the decade, so 2x National Park Service Artists-in-Residence and National Forest Service “Voices of the Wilderness” Brad Einstein and Kyle Niemer (AKA Tree Huggers Comedy) are sending them off in style with their new hour-long comedy-nature documentary, FUNERAL FOR A GLACIER.

Shot on location and utilizing a unique blend of stunning visuals, expert interviews, and original sketches, songs, and puppetry (a style its creators lovingly refer to as “Not Geo”), FUNERAL FOR A GLACIER offers a madcap exploration of the wonder of our wild spaces—and the responsibility we share to protect them.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKERS

BRAD EINSTEIN: Comedian and writer Brad Einstein is a two-time National Park Service Artist-In-Residence, a National Forest Service Voice of the Wilderness, and a "Brilliant Comedy Mastermind" according to some very kind exaggerators at Time Out New York. Originally from Pennsylvania and now based in LA, Brad's work focuses on comedy nature documentaries and climate communications. He has been featured in The LA Times, Rolling Stone, Atlas Obscura, Outside Magazine, and more.

Brad's a Webby Award-winning adventure documentary producer, the winner of the 2021 Climate Comedy Cohort, and the writer of The Climate Variety Show, hosted by Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Jason Sudeikis. Past collaborations and credits include Patagonia, The Atlantic, The Aspen Ideas Festival, Second City Tourco, The Onion, CollegeHumor, Shameless, and more.

KYLE NIEMER: Kyle Niemer is an Award Winning Chicago-based director of commercials, television and digital content. He is a Comedy Central Yes and Laughter Lab finalist, a two-time National Parks Service Artist-in-Residence and the 2020/21 Voice of the Wilderness recipient.

His digital content has been streamed in the millions, and has worked with noted brands across the country including REI, Motor Trend, Discovery, HotWheels, Outside Magazine, VICE, NPS, Sonic and Winnebago.
